I also try to fish as many of Buddy and Clyde's tournaments as I can. I have also fished a few BFL tournaments. There is a big bruise on the face of competitive tournament angling right now. That mark is the issue of fish care and mortality rate. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has seen a weigh-in location the day after a tournament, PETA has. It's not a pretty sight. We all need to do our part to preserve the future of our sport for future generations. Some of my good friends have invented a product that will help us do just that--Kool Well. It keeps your livewell from getting too hot and killing your prize catch and your shot at prize money. It is controlled by a thermostat. You fill your cooler with ice, like you always do. Put your drink of choice in there. When you get to the lake, you fill up your livewell and turn the Kool Well on. Then you fish and don't worry about whether or not your fish are being kept alive and healthy. You don't have to add ice to your livewell. You don't have to add more ice to the Kool Well--JUST CATCH FISH. This device also works great with a bait tank for all you striper, crappie, red fish and catfish guys. We all know how hard those baitfish are to keep alive and healthy--not anymore. With a good, insulated bait tank, and a Kool Well, your problems are solved. My partner and I used a prototype Kool Well system last season with great results. We've always had problems keeping spotted bass alive.
